Code of Conduct
Keep it clean
Keeping Meeting Point tidy is a requirement in maintaining a quality workspace. Work areas, as well as the kitchen area, are expected to be kept clean and presentable, this means cleaning up after yourself. Food stored in the fridge should be monitored, with out of date food disposed of.
Use your inside voice
Proper etiquette in regard to noise level is expected. Members must be mindful not to disturb the noise environment, or any specific member of the environment. This is a co-working space. We expect our members to make efforts to recognise the needs of others, and a balance should always be sought to recognise the needs of an individual, while not hindering the needs of others.
Be nice people
Do to others as you would have them do to you. We will not tolerate harassment, which includes, but is not limited to, reasonably offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity and expression of sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity or religion; sexual images in public spaces; deliberate intimidation; stalking; following; harassing photography or recording; sustained disruption of talks or other events; inappropriate physical contact; and unwelcome sexual attention. Impact trumps intention. Co-workers are encouraged to speak up, even if only witnessing harassment. Co-workers asked to stop any harassing behaviour are expected to comply immediately.
Communication is key
All users of Meeting Point will be aware of this code and you should feel confident in raising any concern directly if they arise. However, if you would like to report any behaviour that is not in line with the Code of Conduct, please email info@meetingpoint.org.uk and we will deal with your concern. This can be done anonymously if required.
